Aqua Medic SP3000 Dosing Pump
Our Price: $99.50 In Stock

The SP 3000 dosing pump is an economic peristaltic pump for pumping small volumes of water. It can be used with bypass filters like the Nitratereductor and the Calciumreactor, and also to top up evaporated water combined with an aquaniveau and the Kalkwasserreactor. A further application is the automatic dosing of fertilizers and minerals. In freshwater aquariums, the iron fertilizer ferreal can be added daily. In coral reef aquariums, the addition of calcium and trace elements (products of the Reef Life series) can be automated using the SP 3000. The pump is supplied with a long life Santopreneâ hose.

Aqua Medic Niveaumat Dosing Pump W/Float Switch
Our Price: $148.88 In Stock

A common mistake in the aquarium hobby is to run the output from an R/O filter directly to a mechanical float switch on the aquarium filter to compensate for evaporation. An R/O filter produces its best water quality when run for an extended period of time. Therefore the ideal top-off system begins with a reservoir that is filled periodically by an extended run of the R/O filter. Water is then pumped, via a peristaltic dosing pump such as the Aqua Medic SP3000, from the R/O reservoir into the aquarium filter “on-demand” as water evaporates. Obviously this type of top-off system requires a reliable level sensing system within the aquarium filter and a switching controller to operate the top-off pump to maintain the water level. The Aqua Medic Niveaumat is an excellent integrated solution that combines the SP 3000 dosing pump with a directly connected low-voltage float switch. Everything you need in one economical package.

Aqua Medic KS1000 Kalkwasser Stirrer/Doser
Our Price: $251.94 In Stock

Kalkwasser might be old-school but these uniquely "revolutionary" stirrers bring the legendary calcium and alkalinity solution into the new millennium. It would not be overstating things to say that kalkwasser has enormous benefits for captive reef aquariums. Kalkwasserpowder is an excellent source of calcium, hydroxide ions to buffer alkalinity, an unmatched ability to encourage coralline algae growth, and it precipitates phosphates out of your system water! Why in the world then wouldn't we all be using it? Primarily it is the mess and hassle of preparing it in small batches, for use as top-off water, which eventually becomes disheartening. The new Kalkwasser Stirrer delivers the freshest possible kalkwasser solution, on-demand, in line with your automated top off system, like the Aqua Medic Niveaumat. And it does this for up to two weeks with no mess, no hassles, and no problems. The gentle stirring action is perfectly designed to mix incoming top-off water directly into the gently spinning slurry of undissolved Kalkwasserpowder at the bottom of the Kalkwasser Stirrer's reaction chamber. Above the slurry, the top-off water rises into a fresh, clear volume of saturated kalkwasser solution where it is pulled, as needed, into your reef tank. Now there is no excuse not to take advantage of all the benefits that come with dosing kalkwasser. The Kalkwasser Stirrer is a must have and partners beautifully with an Aqua Medic Calciumreactor to deliver extraordinary results in even the most demanding SPS coral displays.
